Making art
is to cultivate
a poetic gaze on the world
is to remind the eyes
how to fill themselves
with wonder
the skin to widen
to welcome the other
to the body
to become soft
and generous
sinking into an eternal sunset
existing with eternal dawn,
possessing nothing but the possibility of being everything,
translate,
mutate,
navigate
in this unknown sea we call dance.
